Our Story

Welcome to PRINCIPLE M, a premium menswear clothing brand that was founded in 2013 .

At PRINCIPLE M, we offer bespoke, made-to-measure, ready-to-wear products, and also carefully curated accessories & lifestyle products. Our style is classical yet contemporary, with a balance in function and style.

Our founder Justin, has always had a passion for menswear and tailoring. He started his career in the fashion industry in the United States, where he gained extensive experience and knowledge of classic menswear.

Justin's partner, Jamen, on the other hand brings a wealth of expertise in tailoring to the PRINCIPLE M team. Jamen studied fashion and art in London before training as an apprentice at a Sartoria in Firenze, Italy. He then moved to Paris and eventually settled in Beijing, where he joined PRINCIPLE M in 2017.

In addition to our exceptional tailoring services, we believe in the power of community. We regularly host workshops, trunk shows, and social events to bring together like-minded individuals who share a passion for classic menswear. We have helped build a strong classical menswear community in Beijing and would like to spread our influence beyond in a positive way.

Now, after many successful years in Beijing, PRINCIPLE M is expanding back to the United States and offering our products and services worldwide through our website. We are excited to bring our brand to a global audience and reimagine what PRINCIPLE M can be.
