MTM Services & Fitting Garments
How it works:
Get in contact. Email us (info@principlem.com) and let us know what you’d like, then we will follow-up to set a video call.
Video Call. First time calls take 60 minutes. We will start off by discussing your needs, then present fabrics followed by measurements & fitting, and finally we will go over the design details with you.
Measurements and fittings are done by doing some guided self measurements as well as measurements of garments you own, then we calculate and strike a pattern to achieve a better fit.
Process 1: I'll walk you through some self measurements as well as some measurements of your own garments. In some cases I can strike a pattern and make custom MTM garments with this information alone. In this case MTM price is listed in each product page.
Process 2: In addition to process 1, I may recommend and suggest we make a fitting garment to do an additional fitting after you take some self measurements and measure some of your own garments. The fitting garment is a shell garment and one time use. I'd send that and we'd set up another virtual fitting. The additional price of this product and service is:
shirt $45, pants $65, vest $65, jacket $95 (including shipping).
Patiently wait a few weeks for your clothing. Tailored shirts usually deliver in one month. Tailored trousers, jackets and suiting usually take just over one month.

Suits start at $980
Jackets start at $750
Chinos $200, wool trousers $350
Shirts start at $175
Like our RTW design but want to have it custom MTM? Prices for upgrades: shirt +$25, Chinos/Trousers +$40, Suit +$150, Jacket +$110.
*Tariffs? We invoice MTM suits at $100 and separately invoice the rest of the price as a design and service fee. This means if you have tariffs when your product arrives it will be on a $100 product and not our services. As of April 2025 all products we send are still under the “de minis” tax exemption since products are sent directly to the end client.
Payment is made at the time of purchase, no returns or refunds on tailored clothing.
